Cord Tassel - Wood
Chose from four colors: white, alabaster, pecan and walnut. Note that all tassels are painted.
You can eliminate the loop formed by the lift cord when the cord is raised by NOT tieing a knot at the top of the shade. Instead, leave each cord separate and finish off the end of each cord with a cord tassel.
You should use the 1.4 mm lift cord with these tassels. I could not get the 1.8 mm cord through the top hole. Also, I consider the 0.9 mm lift cord a safety hazzard if used alone (unbraided). It is very thin and might acutally cut your hands.

I always pooh-poohed the small unweighted cord pulls referred to as tassels. I much preferred the heavy, weighted variety. Well, there seems to be a very good use of these inexpensive tassels. If you want a truly child-safe Roman shade system, you should not have a loop in the pull cord. This can be accomplished by leaving each individual lift cord separate and finishing off the end with a tassel. If you have 4 lift lines, you will need 4 cord tassels.
Dimensions of the wood cord tassels are given below. The lift cord gets threaded through the top hole and out the bottom hole. You then make a knot in the cord and pull that knot up into the body of the tassel. Even though the top hole is 2 mm, I could not thread the 1.8 mm lift cord though the hole. I recommend that you not use that cord with these tassels.

There are two ways to choose the color of tassel. You can match the lift cord, or you can pick the color you like. If you are matching lift cord, see the chart below. Please note that all of the wood cord tassels are painted, not stained.
