Item RodTube - Use this polyester tubing to easily cover a weight rod for a Relaxed Roman shade. It is mildew and moisture resistant. We offer this item in white or natural to blend with most lining colors.
Quantity is in inches. Order 2" more than the length of your weight rod.

How to use our Rod Tubing
· Cut your metal weight rod to the required length. · Cut the Fabric Tubing 2” longer than the rod. Turn one end in and stitch across the opening using your sewing machine. Be sure to tack at both ends of your stitching. · Insert your rod into the Fabric Tubing. Turn the open end in and stitch close with your sewing machine. · If you did not leave enough room to use your machine, whip stitch the opening using heavy thread. | You can also use this fabric tubing to cover your metal weight rod for sheer fabric shades, although I have found that if you place your rod behind the second layer of your hem, a "naked" rod is not very visible.
