Copyright 2011 - Catherine G, Yorba Linda, California, USA
Catherine sent this note with her photographs: Thanks Terrell! They turned out beautifully! It seemed to take a while because I was being so careful to read the instructions, but it really only took 24 hours. Instructions for ordering and for creating were perfect!

Roman shades mounted on French doors slip neatly behind a door handle even when it is the crank type. You can see from the shadows where the shade extends past the glass on the top, bottom and sides. This shadowing only happens when the shade is backlit with sun. At night, when the shades are usually lowered, there will be no shadowing.

Catherine made nice sized-olds on her shades.

This photograph shows the shades pulled all of the way up. They add a beautiful softness to the door while keeping most of the view. You can just make out the cord drops at the bottom of each door. Catherine used cord locks, so that she did not have to attach cord cleats to her doors.
