Laura sent photographs of the four large Top-Down/Bottom-Up shades she made for her living room. The windows are trapezoid (angled at the top) and she came up with an ingenious solution by making trapezoid valances and rectangular shades.

Your instructions were very precise and easy to follow. I also found you to have a great selection of reasonably priced hardware items that are hard to find elsewhere.
Because my budget was limited, finding the right fabric and lining was the hardest thing for me. Also, because I have trapezoid windows and wanted top down and bottom up, I needed to come up with valances that would work in my specific situation. The first one was the hardest but once I mastered it the other three were a breeze.
The angle of the room is awkward so the pictures aren't very good but I think you can get an idea of how they look."
