Megan made these great shades for her condo. She used an outside mount installation, placing the shades over inside-mount wood blinds.

Megan sent this message along with the photograph: "Though I have a lot of sewing experience, these are my first window treatments (thanks to your directions/store). One note is that if you're doing side-by-side treatments with a large pattern they really need to line up or it could look funny. For beginner sewers or other first timers I recommend not selecting a stripe, really large pattern; it's much harder to work with." She did a great job of lining up the pattern across the two windows.
