Pieced Striped Shade

Barbara made this very large (6-feet wide and 9-feet long) shade by sewing together four different fabrics into stripes. This is a very simple pieced shade that makes quite at statement. There are a total of four shades this size in the room!

Barbara described her shades: "I'm using 7 vertical stripes in each shade. The widest stripes are 15" and 20". Two of the fabrics are heavy polyester and the widest stripe's fabric is 100% cotton.:
