Fabric and Hardware for a Mock-Roman Shade Valance
|
|
As you can see from the drawing of the back of a Mock-Roman Valance, there is very little hardware required for a Mock-Roman Valance. You will need the following items.
- Front Fabric
- Lining
- Mounting Board (normally a 1x2 pine board)
- Muslin or Front Fabric to cover Mounting Board
- Lift Rings, Lift Cord (or string) and screw eyes
- Hook and Loop Fastener (if your shade is very wide and/or heavy)
- Angle irons for an Outside Projected Mount
Let's look at the back of a Mock-Roman Valance to see understand the hardware requirements.
