JoAnne took my
workshop in February 2005 sponsored by the Cactus Sewables Quilt Guild
that meets in Yucca Valley, California, which is north of Palm Springs.
JoAnne writes:
Dear Terrell,
Thank you so much for all of your help. I finally completed the Roman
shade I began in October of 2005. It took 11-1/2 months from its
inception to completion with its hanging. I learned a great deal on this
first project, mainly, for a first project, start small and work into a
larger shade. My shade is 92" wide by 60" long, covering a
double window.
I have attached
photos of my Roman shade, my original design I named Savannah. The shade
would hang/fold more evenly if my cat Simba would stop climbing behind
the shade and playing with the cords which are holding up rather well
considering the abuse he give them. Photo of Simba is attached as well.
Thanks again for
coming to Yucca Valley, CA.
