Galleries: Churn Dash Top-Design Bedroom Shades
Copyright 1996 - Terrell Sundermann

Two shades, each 68" wide by 64" long.

These two shades are in my guest room in metro-Denver. Since the room is only used for a few weeks a year, I didn't want to spend a lot of time piecing the shades. I used a top design: a single row of Churn Dash quilt blocks were placed along the top of the shade. When they are pulled up, they look like a nice valance. I used an interesting pine-tree fabric for the rest of the shade.
