1x2 Mounting Board Detail [Item MB12] The type of wood varies (pine, fir, oak, etc.) but we always use the straightest lumber available. You may request a sample of this item.
3-ft length dimensions: 3/4" by 1-1/2" by 36" 4-ft length dimensions: 3/4" by 1-1/2" by 48" 5-ft length dimensions: 3/4" by 1-1/2" by 60" You can request that this item be cut to size. Just purchase a long enough board and then in the Comment section of the Shopping Cart note the size you want the board cut. For example, if you need a board that is 32-7/8" long, purchase a 3-ft board (36") and in the Custom Cutting Directions box specify: Cut board to 32-7/8". There is no charge for this service. Five feet (60") is the longest length that I can ship. I don't particularly like to sell this item as it costs a lot to ship and is hard to package. However, in the spirit of being a full-service store, I offer it for sale online. Those of you who live in the middle of a city or don't enjoy driving across town to buy one board can buy it here. You can find 1x2's in longer lengths than 5-ft. Try your local home repair store, such as Home Depot or Lowes, or a local hardware store such as TrueValue or Ace Hardware. You can purchase a pine 1x2 in lengths of up to 8-ft and can sometimes find oak in 10-ft lengths. Roll the board over on the floor to make sure that it is straight. This item does not qualify for quantity discounts because it costs so much to ship. You order more and I eat more of the freight! Back to Shopping
